Sound of music.

We can't deny how music make our life better, wonderful and colorful ( one of my all time favorite movies is Julie Andrew's " Sound of music " ). Music could be your faithful companion too, especially when you really need something to enhance your good mood. I am sure you have experienced how music or song makes you sad, makes you happy, makes you calm down a bit. Now, you need music to make you cheerful, happy, or whatever boost your good mood.
So, please choose the right song or music for your workout ( Chopin's Serenade for stretching, Shania Twain's country upbeat for low impact aerobic, etc )

Scent of a good mood.

Let's prepare a bit for your ritual workout. When you are planning to do aerobic dance with favorite upbeat music, try to make your room full of citrus or fresh mint aroma. These aroma will boost your enthusiasm optimally. Another time you wanna do some yoga, you can choose jasmine or sandalwood which tend to be magical, so you'll forget everyday problem for a while and concentrate to your workout. Candle with various aroma would be a great choice to make your room aromatically well smell.
I promise only with a little creative touch, not only you get a nice body shape, also a beautiful mind.

How to fight ?

Many tricks you can do to fight against laziness. Make a reward for yourself if you can do diet or workout let's say for a week, may be you'll go to some cozy place, have your favorite Japanese style dinner at the weekend.
Buy yourself a T shirt with your idol portrait printed on it would be nice too. Of course, before reaching your target, don't even touch the reward :-)
Another trick :
Do your workout at the very first time, in the morning after having some fresh air and a glass of water, do some sit up and push up. Don't wait until you get home late with exhausting body ( and all you need is a pillow ) .
Try this, before you do whatever relating to the program, do some light housework first, cleaning dishes, water your favorite daisy or even feed your naughty cat.
Doing housework will burn some calories and it's really something for your slimming program.

The big enemy of your slimming program.

One of the big enemies of your or my slimming program is " delay " or " delaying ". People ( you and me ) tend to make a delay before starting something. The typical excuse such as " Well, let me have a cup of tea before I do my work out ", then after tea time, another excuse coming up. " Okay, um.....take 30 minutes nap would be great before my sweating session ", and so on.....
Believe me it would end up by not doing anything until tomorrow, and tomorrow would be another day ( or excuse ? ). Your dream of being a runway model would be really " gone with the wind " :-)
So, just make sure to follow the schedule, no gain without pain, buddy.

How to get motivated ?

Many things out there would be your great motivation. The most motivating and most inspirating one is another person's body shape. When you watch his or her perfect body contour, first of all you'll be drooling and sighing and think like this : If this body is mine, I would be very excited. Five minutes later you will promise to yourself, I can do it and I have to prepare whatever I need to start my slimming diet program or I have to evaluate and continue to gain my diet and workout program....... Another motivating trick is put someone's picture or poster on your bedroom wall so you can see it day and night, no matter it's your friend, an actor, model or whoever, even a jaguar if you find it would be motivating to you :-) , soon you'll find that everything is different especially your mood and spirit to fight. I'll share some other things that can be your motivation later, please share yours for us too.

Get motivated

Sometimes, in my diet history, I feel so tired that I wanna quit from this strict game. Yes, you'll have this feeling too once in a while. But, don't worry, this is normal. All you can do is, forget this stuff for a moment, just go out to see people, check to see how people in the mall make them self pretty or cool. Buy some fashion magazine, you'll see the perfect body in the business, how they keep them self fit and good looking, many article describe how they have a hard time to keep this good shape. You'll find that what you had done was nothing compare to their pain in effort to gain a better look. You'll meet a lot of motivation out there, and believe me, soon, you'll get motivated again.

Extreme diet

Don't be too strict to yourself. Years ago, I had tried to avoid a lot of my favorite food, including noodles, fried chicken, ice cream, sundae, cakes and a lot more. I had only stand for a month ( which I felt like I was living in a deserted island ). Too much steam vegetables made me puke, glasses of fruit juice had made my stomach sick.
Eventually, I decided to come back to my eating habit even more, a butter cake seems to be two times more delicious than ever, fried chicken tasted a lot more crispy than it used to be. Just because you avoid it too much, makes you even missing them and loving them more.
You will not survived with this strategy, just stay calmed, a little cup ice cream won't add a double chin on your face, a piece of fried chicken wing won't make your " love handle " bulging.
The point is you can have any meal you like, but still keep in mind the keyword " the amount ".
So, please don't make yourself suffered, don't make it complicated. Besides, avoid to have certain item will make your nutrition intake imbalance ( malnutrition ).

YO - YO diet

Have you experienced once that your body weight changing frequently, increasing this week and decreasing another week ? It shows that your diet program is not running very well.
The only thing you can do is : review your everyday menu. May be last night you had large amount of fried potato, today you are starving so much that you don't even touch your favorite melon juice, and tomorrow you have already planned a beer party with your buddy. Wow...this is a no - no, my friend. Gradually you'll be losing your good stamina, while you still have a beautiful dream about competing your body shape with Raquel Weisz ( for girl ) or David Beckham ( for guy ).
So, let's do your diet slowly but sure, please don't do it temperamentally or relying on your mood, but promise to yourself that you will follow a rule you set from the beginning.

Thanks, my sugar.

Once I did my diet a little bit too much. I skip all the fat matter from my meals. Non fat milk, low fat cheese, low fat yoghurt, super lean meat. I push my carbohydrate intake to the lowest limit. I hope my quick slim program would be resulting perfectly as soon as possible. But, believe it or not, it ended up with a " horror " night. My heart was beating so fast that I felt it almost jump out of my chest. It felt so hard to move my hand. I was really in panic. I pray to God and made my self calm down. After 5 minutes or so, I got up slowly and made a glass of warm water, added with extra amount sugar. It's really useful when you were in this urgent situation. After 10 minutes, I felt my heartbeat was running well again, everything remained okay.
So, the lesson is : don't make your body run out offuel ( as the gas for car ), reducing meal or fat is fine, but do it gradually. You have to notice every changing inside your body related with the diet.
Do you feel any dizzy or exhausted. Stomach ache may be ? Just beware anything labeled with " too " is not good. The best expert that can help your body is your self. Please collect as much information as possible for the reference. ( It will make you busy, but believe me, it's fun )

Lost in another person's diet program

Beware not to be a lost boy in someone else's diet program. Some people tend to follow other's formula that's proven to be successful. That's fine, but the question is : Are you in the same condition with that guy ( or girl )?. For the reference, you can copy his ( her ) menu or schedule, but please adjust it to fit your need, consider things related with your health factor. For example, he ( she ) takes a glass of lemon juice for breakfast every morning, that's good for him ( her), but are you sure you don't have any problem with your stomach ? He does the push up with 30 reps each set. Are you strong enough to perform that ? ( or you will make your muscle join injured )
Well, you don't have to imitate Kate Moss's diet program.

Actually there are still things about push up and sit up, but let's move to another stuff related with your quick slim program.
You've already reduced your food intake gradually.
You've already skip your bed time meal.
You have milk for your stamina ( no matter full cream or no fat one ).
You do some sport as your ritual.
What else ?
The tricks and tips about slimming program will not reaching an end, you'll find a lot of interesting thing around this topic, may be from the net, from your friend's talk, or the best one is from your own experience ( which you can share with us anytime ).
Easy doesn't mean doing it halfhearted, quick doesn't mean instantly or immediately shape up.
Reaching a good result in a year or so is quick for some one with extremely overweight body, six months to reach the goal is quick for you with moderately overweight body.
Besides we need quick but above all, we need "save" ( or healthy ).
I will share cases about peope who ruin their health only because inappropriate diet program.

How to push?

Every one know how to do push up. You can choose various style. also you can adjust the distance you put your two arms as the main support. I suggest you to put your two arms about as wide as the shoulder width. 3 - 5 reps would be great for the beginner, the keyword is still " concentrate ".
Exhale while you lift your body up, inhale while doing the opposite way, think about the area you want to gain. Usually the tight and firm chest is everyone's target ( not matter it's a man or woman ). Try to move your body upward with your chest power as a starting point. ( not entirely using your arms ). You"ll feel a little sore around chest area, but it will gain the good shape, thus you"ll get your shoulder and arms progressing to the better shape.
Again, just take it easy, don't try too hard, because it will cut down your enthusiasm and end up with frustated feeling. It doesn't mean you get nothing with only 3 or 5 reps, as long as you do it properly, your pain will gain a sweet fruit for you.

Push up and sit up tips

When you do push up and sit up, make sure that you are not wasting your time and energy for nothing. Most of the people tend to do sit up with their back, not their ab ( abdomen ) muscle, their back muscle takes the main part in the effort to lift the body. This would be very exhausting for you without any good result for the ab shape. The right thing to do is make sure that your neck and back muscle in relax condition, try to work your ab muscle ( slowly but sure ) , concentrate to lift your upper body with that muscle, may be you can only lift it a bit, but don't worry, that's fine.
You will have your ab muscle very tight and a bit cramping, that's the good sign, it works !
For the beginner, 3 reps ( repetition ) would be appropriate, but just keep in mind, 3 good quality reps is much much better than 30 bad quality reps ( although you do it with a lot of sweating and grunting, ooooughhhh ).

Better not to skip sport from your quick slim program

Sport is very important to make a balance after you lost some fat, it makes your muscle firm and preventing the skin from cellulite that often appear after a quick slimming program. It doesn't mean you have to do heavy sport like soccer or weight lifting, but some jogging would be fine, it burns fat and make your body in shape at the same time, and most of all, the aerobic effect will be a good combination with your diet program.
So, better not to skip a light sport from your quick slim program.
Some sit up and push up would be appropriate to do, starting with 5 times repeating, so you won't feel too exhausted. Another reason to do sport is healthy matter, you don't want to walk with arching back and smokey eye although you get a slim body, do you ?
